Filling life up with all the good things, this is what my goal is!! Anyone else on the same page as I am??? Sounds like it would be easy to do, going to all the fun places, buying all the things you love, eating all your favorite foods, thinking all the good thoughts, being with all the best people... Well then, let's do it!!! Wait, you have to work, oh, there is a dinner party for your husbands intense co-workers you need to attend, you have to renew your drivers license at the DMV, you want to lose weight and your new diet doesn't allow you to eat anything, these aren't all the good things! But, they are things that get in the way of filling your life with all the good things, what is important here, is that you don't make these things your excuse for not filling your life with all the good things. They are all just temporary moments and things that might come up in your life, especially work, this doesn't mean that you can't be filled with all the good things.
Start your day with good things, end your day with good things, whatever it is that you need to do in the middle that you don't seem to be looking forward to doing, do them with the best attitude you can, knowing that the end of your day will be good. Write down all your good things, find a place for them in your day (not all of them in a day;)), things to look forward to that will recharge you, or starting your day with a few to keep you happy and motivated. Regular everyday things that you do can be good things, routines with all the good things is a great way to be sure they are part of your everyday. The decisions you make, the people you spend time with, the actions you take, the words you say, the thoughts you think, the foods you eat... can all have an effect on your day and how you live life. All the good things can make us feel so much better, think more clearly, stay happier and healthier, it is a lifestyle we can live with.
Creating foods you love, that put a smile on your face while still staying healthy in the process, a challenge, but it can be done. There are many resources out there to help you with this, but that what I am here for. Creating recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and even desserts, keeping my clients healthy and happy. Filling your body with all the good things to eat!!! Sharing a chocolate chip cookie recipe, this can be on the good things list:)
GF Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 tbsp coconut oil
3 tbsp maple syrup
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups almond flour
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp himalayan salt

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Using a large bowl start with mixing the coconut oil and maple syrup, whisk until well combined. Add the egg and vanilla and continue to whisk until combined.
In a different bowl combine almond flour, baking soda, and salt, stir well.
Pour the flour mixture in with the wet ingredients, stir together with a wooden spoon until combined, add the chocolate chips and stir to spread the chocolate chips into the batter.
Scoop out rounded tablespoons and place on the baking sheet, bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
