Beautiful~ pleasing the senses or mind aesthetically.
I love this definition of beautiful, the words "pleasing the senses" can go so much deeper than just the outwards appearance of someone or something. Our senses cover a multitude of feelings and emotions, and beauty can come to us in so many different ways. I have people in my life that radiate beauty from the inside out, they feed my soul and my senses. There are things in my life that I find beauty in, places in my life that I find beauty in, moments in my life that I find beauty in!!! What makes them beautiful to me is how they feed my soul and my senses, how they affect me, down to my core.
When someone says you're beautiful, I hope they mean that from the inside out, I hope they can feel my essence, that is where the real beauty lies. Yes, beauty can lie one the outside, the appeal of how someone or something looks, but that beauty can diminish when get deeper inside. I see beautiful in all things that keep me healthy, sane, happy, at peace, joyful, in love, intelligent, all that feeds my soul and speaks to my heart. Taking time to nourish and nurture yourself, that is something beautiful, living from your heart, that is something beautiful, not defining yourself through others, that is beautiful, having true connection with others, that is beautiful!! Like I said, beauty comes to us so many different ways. Try to seek the true beauty in yourself and others, live a beautiful life!
Savor the beautiful things in your life, feed your soul, bring beautiful people and moments into your life. Be a beautiful person from the inside out, beauty isn't just skin deep.
