Evolve~ 2 minutes with Mindy

Evolve- To change or develop gradually. Develop gradually seems to be a better way of thinking of evolving. Change sometimes scares people, change for some is not always welcome, or many go with the attitude that you cannot change someone. But, you can change yourself, or develop gradually. So, let's go with that, developing into the person you know you can be, the person you see yourself being, the best version of yourself. For most of us we can look within and be happy with what we see and feel, that is great! But why stop growing and evolving?? Things change around us all the time, should we not change as well. There is always room for growth, lessons to be learned, dreams to follow, goals to be met, all part of evolving.

Taking your life seriously and taking control, you cannot pass the responsibility of your life to someone else. A wonderful book I am reading now makes several points that, "people don't always feel the weight of their existence, they live by superficial values and naive ideas." "Unconsciousness is like junk food. "It's an easy way to go through life, but it doesn't give you the nourishment you need." "Bringing your own intelligence to bear on everyday experiences can add an essential dimension that gives its own kind of pleasure." "Evolving involves educating your heart and cultivating your life!! "You read, you talk, and you think; you don't just act." "You consider your experiences and take lessons from them." All wonderfully wise words to help us develop gradually, and evolve.

So take control of who your are and the person you want to be, let the world around you contribute to your growth and development. Let the good and the bad be stepping stones to your evolving, move through your feelings and emotions, allow them be a part of who you are. Evolve!!!
