I just finished an incredible book, in one of the chapters the book discussed, "Cultivating your power to INSPIRE". I wrote about inspiration in a previous blog, but to inspire, this takes us down a different rode, instead of finding the inspiration, be the inspiration! This next part I love, the word inspire means "to breathe into," so when you inspire you breathe into another person a reason to work hard and be creative and engage the world meaningfully. You take your own good breath and give it to someone else. So much power in that, breathe life and inspiration into others. Okay, I get it, breathing into someone else on the heels of COVID, masks and all. But, I don't mean it literally, I do mean it spiritually. Filling someone else's soul.
Inspiration is magical, not just because it has a wondrous effect but because of the way it works. you don't usually inspire someone rationally, but your can find powerful words or gestures, maybe your example, that will light a fire in another person. You can be a muse or a guiding spirit. This is not saying that you need to take on this role specifically for one individual or another, Just to breathe into those around you that you care about or that may be in need. Just by being you, reach down into all your goodness and share these parts of yourself. Share your knowledge and wisdom. Have confidence in your eduction and experience to the point you may guide and educate others.
Fill someone with the urge or ability to do or feel something, especially to do something creative. Inspire by another definition would be, to influence, motivate or produce a feeling. To help stimulate ones own creativity as by divine or spiritual influence. What an amazing feeling, to infuse or breathe inspiration into others. How fulfilling this can be, to find that place inside you, to draw out all of your positivity and share it with others. Another way to lead a more whole and rewarding life, healthy is so many ways, it fills the soul. To infuse into the mind; to communicate to the spirit; to convey, as by a divine or supernatural influence, INSPIRATION!!
Guacamole and black Bean Tacos-
Guacamole
2 ripe avocados, mashed
Juice of ½ lime
Juice of ½ lemon
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp diced jalapeno pepper
1 tbsp diced red onion
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp chopped cilantro
Combine all ingredients in a bowl
Black Beans
1 15 oz can black beans (or your own premade black beans)
⅓ cup corn either cut from the cob or frozen (thawed), Optional
¼ cup diced red bell pepper
¼ cup diced poblano peppers
½ tsp ground cumin
Place all ingredients in a sauce pan and heat. Remove and let cool slightly.
Tacos
6 corn tortillas
2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
1 tbsp chopped cilantro
Hot sauce of choice on top
Heat corn tortillas, line half the tortilla with lettuce, spoon in black bean mixture on one half, put guacamole on the other half. Top with hot sauce of choice and a pinch of cilantro.
