I may have already touched on this subject before, but I find it important to bring it up again. When it comes to making changes to your health and wellbeing, you need to be sure that these changes are ones that you can hold on to for life. What I mean by this is that, they need to be reasonable enough for you to keep as part of your lifestyle, something that you aren't looking forward to stopping or ending. Diets are one example, most of us look at them as temporary, something that you will do for a few weeks maybe a month, then you're done. What happens at the end, you go back to your old habits, your old way of eating and thinking. This can also be true about any changes you make to your way of thinking or understanding life and life changes. Everything sounds good and make sense, you shift your outlook about the things going on in your life, you educate yourself, read books that sound great and make sense, but sometimes old habits are hard to break!!
Lifestyle changes need to be commitments you make to yourself and those around you. Changes that you can make a part of your life, everyday, for the rest of your life! If not, then these changes are meaningless, and everything you have realized about yourself, and those around you, just fades away and you are right back where you started. Changes you make for yourself need to benefit you and those you love, making your world a better place to be for you and those around you. Changes that feel so good that you don't want them to end or give them up, enhancing your life and making you the best version of yourself. Think inward not outward, these changes need to be about you and for you, as a result this will show up in how you live your life and reflect in those around you.
Once you become that person, and you have made these changes a part of your lifestyle, then they become habit, good habits, positive habits, healthy happy habits!! Who doesn't want to be the best version of themselves?? Start making these healthy changes to your life, through the foods your eat, your thoughts, your actions, your words. Living in a space of Love, Grace and Gratitude!
Savor the lifestyle change!!!
