Restore~ To put or bring back into existence or use.
I am sure a lot of my readers are wondering what all these words in my blogs have to do with food and eating??? They have everything to do with the person we are the person we strive to be. I is my practice and experience that unless we are balanced in who we are and aware of where we are, all these words ore of utmost importance. They all contribute to the whole of YOU!!!
So often we underestimate the power of rest, taking time to restore ourselves. Rest is usually the time to restore ourselves, to bring ourselves back to existence. When our hearts feel heavy, and our minds cannot quiet, it is often a sign that we are doing too much. Doing too much does not mean we are being more productive, it means we are doing TOO MUCH!! Pushing too hard, thinking too far, this concept of more is not always better for our souls.
Sometimes, the real power, the real abundance is in the power of less. Restoring ourselves, brining ourselves to a place where there is less on our plate (plate of things to get done, not food)haha, less on our minds, a soul with more space to play, create, enjoy, think and just be. Give yourself the time to rest and restore, that is not being selfish, it is being considerate of yourself and others. Don't wait to be sick before you take time for yourself, don't wait until you are too tired to do anything and then think you need to rest and restore, because by then you will be just, too tired!
Restore means taking time for you, however it looks whatever you do to restore, do it as often as you need, or as often as you want. Imagine that, taking time whenever you want, seems like a luxury, but it is a necessity!!! A healthy lifestyle means a healthy you! Rest and Restore, bring yourself back to existence.
